Muckno Pope John Paul II Awards:

Last Friday evening 1st March 2014 in the Slieve Russell Hotel, Co. Cavan seven young people from our parish received their JPII Gold Medal Award for volunteering in the Church and local community. Congratulations to Áoife Mc Cooey; Colleen Carville; John Duffy; Nyle Mohan; Lisa Cairns; David Hughes; and Jacqueline Kelly, your hard work paid off guys!! A big word of thanks to Irene Cairns (JPII Group Leader) for her dedication, hard work and time, it is very much appreciated by all.   (Nyle Mohan missing from photo)

Also congratulations to Dearbhaile Farrell; Kevisha Yatagampitya and Ciara Kelly, new JPII candidates who were commissioned last weekend as Ministers of Holy Communion at the vigil Mass.
