Monster Easter Raffle a Huge Success

A highly successful Easter Raffle took place in The Glencarn Shopping Centre last weekend indeed it was one of a kind raising €6,000 for Muckno Parish Building Fund the prizes were sponsored by Gerry McElroy “Gerry’s Takeaway”  Ballybay.   1^st Prize winner Megan Hughes and her family surely had a great Easter with all the wonderful  goodies in the Monster Hamper, other winners on the night Gerard Ward, Noelle Duffy, Chloe Mooney, Pat O’Flaherty, Marionnette Mc Quaide  and Gerry Forde congratulations and well done.

A big thank you to Eileen Kerr for organising this event and all the ladies who give up their time to sell tickets also to George Wallace for the Easter Cakes, Pete McMahon  for all his help,to the Northern Standard for promoting our events and a very special word of thanks to Gerry& Margaret  McElroy for their  outstanding support  and generosity.

Once again, we thank all who continue to support the parish and ask all parishioners to play as full a role as possible in the challenges that will face us financially in the coming years in the restoration and renovation of St. Mary’s ChurchCastleblayney and St. Patrick’s Church Oram.

Next big event takes place on Saturday 25^th April @ 2pm 5K Walk/Run from Castleblayney to Oram Sponsored cards available from Parish Office.   Anyone willing to help out with fundraising can contact the office Tel: 0429740027.
