We express our gratitude and acknowledge a donation of €5,350 towards our parish fund. This huge amount was the proceeds of a Vintage Silage Cutting Show outside Ardee, Co. Louth on the Bank Holiday Monday in June. The reason our Parish was chosen was in memory of the late Gerry Duffy, Tullycara who was one of the founding members of the “Border Counties Vintage Grassmen” who organized the event. Our thanks goes to the family of Gerry—his wife Ann and children, Denise, Kevin & Paudie—his brothers Pat & P.J. for nominating our parish as their chosen charity. We thank also the Border Counties Vintage Grassmen for their generosity and support.
