Communal Celebration of God’s forgiveness and love with individual absolution this Sunday evening 2nd April in St. Mary‘s Church, Castleblayney at 6pm. As this is a Communal Celebration it is important to note that the Prayer Service is a major part of the liturgy. The Prayer Service involves reflection, examination of conscience and prayers of forgiveness : all done in common with an individual responsibility and commitment to atonement. For this important reason we ask you to be present at 6pm and to try be part of the complete liturgy– not simply the absolution prayer.
We encourage everyone to attend as this will be the only opportunity for confession before Easter.
