Fr Walshe is originally from Doohamlet but spent much of his childhood in Killycracken in this parish, where his family lived for a time. He is a past student of Castleblayney College and St Patrick’s, Maynooth and was ordained in December 1988. His first appointment was to the teaching staff of Beech Hill College, Monaghan 1988- 1990, Monaghan & Rackwallace parish 1990-1994. He has also served in Beleek-Garrison parish, County Fermanagh, Kitui in Kenya, in Enniskillen and, from 2003 – 2015 was here in Muckno. From 2015 – 2020 he served the people of Kilmore & Drumsnatt (Threemilehouse & Corcaghan) as Parish Priest until returning to Muckno as Parish Priest in January 2020. Fr Adrian was made Canon by Bishop Larry Duffy during the summer of 2023.

Fr Stephen is a native of Ballybay. He was educated at St Patrick’s Boys School Ballybay and the Community College (VEC) also in Ballybay.
BBS from Dundalk IT and worked in the food industry for 10 years in various positions. Fr Stephen commenced formation for the priesthood in 2010,
lived in the Irish College in Rome from 2010-2016 and studied Philosophy and Theology at the Angelicum University (Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas)
He was ordained to the Diaconate by Bishop Martin Drennan on April 5th 2015 in the Basilica of San Silvestro in Rome and ordained to the Priesthood by Bishop Liam MacDaid on July 24th 2016 in Saint Macartan’s Cathedral.
He has served in the Cathedral Parish of Monaghan and Rackwallace from 2016 to 2018 and arrived in the Parish of Muckno in 2018.
Fr Stepehn is a member of the Priest’s Council of the Diocese of Clogher and the Liturgy Commission. Currently one of the Bishop’s representative on the Covid County Forum.
